Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred
  • ability to stand and walk during entire shift
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • ability to operate point of sale system
  • ability to hear well in a loud environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • receive payment and assist other service personnel as needed
  • respond to and address guests concerns
  • demonstrate a sense of urgency and meet service cycle timing standards
  • maintain guest waiting list and adhere to proper seating order procedures
  • describe promotions and suggestively sell while seating guests
  • take initial beverage orders
  • attend to other guest needs during the dining experience
  • handle cash, credit card, and discount transactions safely and accurately
  • use proper telephone etiquette
  • enter and deliver "To Go" orders correctly
  • address complaints promptly and notify supervisor of issues
  • assist with beverage orders, refills, clearing and setting tables
  • willingly assist other team members
  • maintain proper supply of clean menus
  • lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
  • demonstrate knowledge of station and floor breakdowns
  • possess strong product and menu knowledge
  • maintain foyer area to be clean, organized, and inviting
  • complete required side-work including deep cleaning assignments
  • adhere to brand standards and internal policies
  • provide courteous service and be cordial to team members and guests
