Job Duties
- Greet members and guests entering the service areas or dining rooms and escort them to the table, open menus and place them on the table in front of each person
- May instruct servers to change linen or to reset tables when necessary
- Reserve tables for members and guests upon request
- May receive and adjust complaints concerning food or service
- Monitor the preparation of food and beverage products to ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation
- Provide menu suggestions to the Food & Beverage Director
- Participate in the set up and breakdown of items for Food & Beverage activities
- Greet all members and guests with an immediate smile, eye contact and verbal welcome, escort guests to tables, pull chairs for ladies, present menus, monitor server service
- Speak to all departing patrons extending a thank you and concern for their satisfaction
- Monitor and/or participate to ensure that tables are reset within 5 minutes
- Conduct a physical inspection of the room and floor to ensure proper presentation
