Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous lead host(ess) experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant preferred
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
- Must be able to converse with guests in a warm, friendly, gracious manner
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Must enjoy guest service, have excellent organization skills and sense of timing
- Able to stand and walk quickly for periods of up to four hours
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be 18 or older to apply

Job Duties
- Greets guests upon arrival, escorts them to their table, provides menu, wine list, and highlights best-of-season specialties
- Maximizes guest seating and table turns, ensuring a smooth flow of the restaurant, including proper section rotation
- Manages special seating requests consistent with availability
- Relays messages to servers or server assistants as appropriate
- Answers telephone, gives directions to restaurant, addresses questions, and takes reservations and messages
