Job Requirements
- Poised, polished and impeccably presented
- Excellent customer service skills
- A natural connector with strong emotional intelligence and presence
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both co-workers and guests
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, team environment
- Have a current AZ Food Handler's/Servesafe card or ability to obtain
Job Qualifications
- Host/maitre'd experience at a high-volume, upscale restaurant preferred but willing to train the right person
- Strong knowledge of reservation and guest management systems (experience with SevenRooms a plus)
- Polished communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Calm and professional demeanor under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Passion for hospitality and a natural ability to anticipate guest needs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Welcome every guest with grace and professionalism, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience
- Oversee reservations and guest flow, ensuring efficient and balanced seating for optimal service
- Anticipate guest needs and manage VIP experiences with discretion and care
- Serve as a communication hub between front-of-house and back-of-house to maintain smooth operations
- Support the other hosts, modeling elevated service standards at all times
- Handle guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and swift resolution
- Uphold an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality consistent with Pinyon's coastal Mediterranean spirit
