Job Requirements

  • presents menus to guests upon seating

  • manages seating rotation effectively
  • ensures accuracy in take-out and delivery order processing and presentation
  • assists with bussing duties and station stocking

  • conducts daily cleaning projects as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Able to obtain valid Food Handler's Card and OLCC Server Permit
  • able to arrive to work on time and prepared for the shift
  • basic knowledge of hospitality and restaurant operations
  • friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers, management, and guests
  • able to perform basic mathematics accurately
  • experience using Micros POS system or similar technology
  • good time management skills
  • capable of maintaining positive demeanor under pressure
  • thorough knowledge of menu and restaurant seating
  • able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • knowledge and practice of proper hand-washing, food handling, and safety measures
  • compliance with OLCC and company alcohol policies

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
  • take and manage orders in person, over the phone, online, and via tablets
  • accurately pack take-out orders and manage deliveries
  • run orders for curbside pick-up
  • clean, sanitize, and disinfect front-of-house areas
  • manage host cash drawer accurately
  • assist front-of-house staff with bussing and station stocking
  • transport water and beverage refills, clear plates and glassware
  • manage wait lists and quote wait times using tablets or manual methods
  • follow all health, safety, and alcohol service procedures
  • maintain a positive and friendly demeanor throughout shift
  • follow management directives and assist with additional cleaning and sanitation duties
