Job Requirements
- Consistently arrives to work as scheduled and ready to start shift
- maintains proper grooming and uniform standards
- greets guests, delivery drivers, and vendors promptly and hospitably
- answers phone calls professionally and responds to tablet orders promptly
- presents menus to guests upon seating
- reports lost items to management immediately
- maintains accurate cash drawer management
- demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of menu and ingredients
- manages seating rotation effectively
- ensures accuracy in take-out and delivery order processing and presentation
- assists with bussing duties and station stocking
- says thank-you and goodbye to guests
- complies with company policies and procedures
- follows management instructions especially around cleaning and safety
- conducts daily cleaning projects as assigned
- complies with break policies
- manages wait list and accurately communicates wait times
- willing to work varied shifts including late hours, holidays, and weekends
- able to perform duties effectively in a fast-paced setting under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Able to obtain valid Food Handler's Card and OLCC Server Permit
- able to arrive to work on time and prepared for the shift
- basic knowledge of hospitality and restaurant operations
- friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers, management, and guests
- able to perform basic mathematics accurately
- experience using Micros POS system or similar technology
- good time management skills
- capable of maintaining positive demeanor under pressure
- thorough knowledge of menu and restaurant seating
- able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- knowledge and practice of proper hand-washing, food handling, and safety measures
- compliance with OLCC and company alcohol policies
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
- take and manage orders in person, over the phone, online, and via tablets
- accurately pack take-out orders and manage deliveries
- run orders for curbside pick-up
- clean, sanitize, and disinfect front-of-house areas
- manage host cash drawer accurately
- assist front-of-house staff with bussing and station stocking
- transport water and beverage refills, clear plates and glassware
- manage wait lists and quote wait times using tablets or manual methods
- follow all health, safety, and alcohol service procedures
- maintain a positive and friendly demeanor throughout shift
- follow management directives and assist with additional cleaning and sanitation duties
