Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a customer service or host role is an asset but not required
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- friendly and approachable demeanor
- basic knowledge of reservation and POS systems is a plus
Job Duties
- greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements
- coordinate waitlists and manage guest flow efficiently
- assist in answering phone calls and handling reservations
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
- provide accurate wait times and information to guests
- handle guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally
