Job Duties
- Greet guests with energy and enthusiasm
- Answer guest phone calls with professionalism and hospitality
- Follow checklists to set up the host area
- Maintain a professional image by adhering to appearance and behavior guidelines
- Keep track of table flow and dining room pacing
- Adjust seating plans to avoid bottlenecks
- Manage special seating requests
- Communicate with managers and team members to keep service seamless
- Support servers and service assistants
- Answer questions about food, wine, and experiences
- Share insights about Barrel Reserve wine
- Help with light side work and maintain the entry area
- Keep phone etiquette polished when handling calls and reservations
