Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience in an upscale environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Open availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
- Must adhere to company safety policies
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally
- Ability to follow uniform and grooming guidelines
- Must maintain professional appearance
- Ability to handle stressful and high demand situations
- Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to take direction from management
Job Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience in an upscale environment highly preferred
- Organizational skills
- Must adhere to all company specific safety policies
- Ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Able to take direction and constructive feedback from management

Job Duties
- Meet, greet, and interact with guests in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner
- Direct guests to the appropriate destination
- Coordinate special events and manage crowd control
- Perform administrative responsibilities as required
- Assist when needed in table settings and general dining room duties
- Communicate any issues to management
- Contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve guest inquiries, situations and/or complaints
- Assure that guests are adhering to Rainbow Room dress code standards
- Change the number of place settings per table at the client or guests request if changes occur during the event
- Add or take away a complete table if the guest count or number of tables need changed
- Be able to handle high stress situations when dealing with guests and the public
- Perform other duties as assigned
