Job Requirements
- CA Food Handler's Card upon hire required
- you must be at least 21 years of age to work for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
- selected candidate must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check
- a pattern of regular, prompt, dependable attendance required
- ability to handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities while still delivering superior service to the guests
Job Qualifications
- 6 months previous restaurant experience preferred
- exceptional communication skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- ability to provide exceptional guest service
- excellent work ethic with attention to detail
- basic computer literacy skills
Job Duties
- Support the restaurant by comfortably greeting guests upon arrival and offering a fond farewell at their exit
- maintain an organized and accurate wait list while communicating large parties with supervisors on duty
- manage table reservations through software applications
- ensure guests are seated at clean and properly maintained tables and are greeted immediately by their server or bartender
- organize and set tables and chairs for an excellent guest experience
- ensure all equipment, tools, and working areas are safe, clean, well maintained, and in proper working condition
- actively participate in daily, weekly, monthly trainings and operational updates to ensure up-to-date knowledge
- help maintain cleanliness in guest areas, such as floors, walls, restrooms, and windows
- may be assigned additional work within the restaurant operation as needed
