Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of hosting experience in a busy, full-service restaurant
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail
- familiarity with restaurant technologies such as POS systems and reservation platforms
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- at least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
- commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
- knowledge of steps of service, food safety, sanitation, and phone etiquette
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to address problems quickly and turn situations into positive outcomes
- familiarity with POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules
- flexible schedule and open availability
Job Duties
- greet guests warmly upon arrival
- manage seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently
- answer phone calls and handle reservations using Open Table
- maintain a clean and organized host station
- communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
- resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- assist with general front-of-house operations as needed
