Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of hosting experience in a busy, full-service restaurant
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • familiarity with restaurant technologies such as POS systems and reservation platforms
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • at least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
  • commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
  • knowledge of steps of service, food safety, sanitation, and phone etiquette
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to address problems quickly and turn situations into positive outcomes
  • familiarity with POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules
  • flexible schedule and open availability

Job Duties

  • greet guests warmly upon arrival
  • manage seating arrangements and waitlists efficiently
  • answer phone calls and handle reservations using Open Table
  • maintain a clean and organized host station
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
  • resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • assist with general front-of-house operations as needed
