Job Requirements

  • Must have a CA Food Handler's Card upon hire
  • Must have six months previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Must have a pattern of regular, prompt, dependable attendance
  • Ability to handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities while delivering superior guest service
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest service
  • Excellent work ethic with attention to detail
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to work for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
  • Must pass a pre-employment post offer background check

Job Duties

  • Support the restaurant by comfortably greeting guests upon arrival and offering a fond farewell at their exit
  • Maintain an organized and accurate wait list while communicating large parties with supervisors on duty
  • Manage table reservations through software applications
  • Ensure guests are seated at clean and properly maintained tables and are greeted immediately by their server or bartender
  • Organize and set tables and chairs for an excellent guest experience
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and working areas are safe, clean, well maintained, and in proper working condition
  • Actively participate in daily, weekly, monthly trainings and operational updates to ensure up-to-date knowledge
  • Help maintain cleanliness in guest areas such as floors, walls, restrooms, and windows
  • May be assigned additional work within the restaurant operation as needed
