- a minimum of one year experience as a host in a busy restaurant setting
- excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- ability to remain organized and detail oriented under pressure
- familiarity with restaurant reservation and scheduling software
- commitment to hospitality standards and guest satisfaction
- flexible work hours including weekends and holidays
- strong problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- at least one full year of host experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
- commitment to creating an amazing and memorable guest experience
- strong communication and organizational skills
- knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and phone etiquette
- ability to manage stressful situations and turn them into positive outcomes
- proficiency with POS Toast, Open Table, and Hot Schedules
- flexible schedule and open availability
Job Duties
- greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- manage guest seating and reservations using POS Toast and Open Table
- address and resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively
- maintain organized and clean hosting area
- communicate efficiently with front of house and kitchen staff
- ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards
- support smooth flow of guest services and waitlist management
