Job Requirements
- Must be 17 years or older
- Ability to greet and interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills for managing reservations
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior customer service experience is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain friendly and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and provide a positive first impression
- Escort guests to tables and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage and take reservations, including wait list management when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff about guest needs and seating
- Ensure guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience
- Assist with answering guest inquiries and providing information about the menu and restaurant services
