Job Duties
- Be an instructor in the subject of work to all who come to Goodwill for training or job placement assistance
- Graciously greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their table, provide menus, and inform them of assigned server
- Manage special seating requests consistent with table availability
- Schedule day and shift assignments for all dining room personnel and notify them of same
- Assign service stations to all servers and bus persons
- Inform service personnel of daily menu changes, specials, and other matters affecting dining room operations
- Supervise the operation of the dining room during meal service periods adjusting patron seating flow to balance customers among service stations
- Relay messages to servers and bus persons
- Assist with duties of servers and bus persons to maintain service effectiveness and efficiency
