Job Requirements

Previous host or hostess experience in restaurant or hospitality
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills

Ability to maintain cleanliness and attention to detail

Job Duties

Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
Escort guests to tables, balancing flow among server stations
Ensure table selection corresponds with proper rotation and party size
Utilize customer paging system when applicable
Assist with seating requests and provide clean menus
Relay guest information to service staff and request feedback
Maintain cleanliness and organization of host station
Answer phones promptly with an appropriate greeting
Respond to guest inquiries regarding reservations and operating hours
Ensure backup coverage for host stand when necessary
Complete side work requirements before, during and after shifts
Periodically check restrooms for cleanliness and supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of t-shirt cabinet and storage area
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
