Job Requirements
- A score of 90% or better on health department inspections
- a score of 90% or better on mystery shopper reports
- follow all dress code requirements for host/hostess operation
- black Dickie pants
- black cotton-style shirt
- black non skid shoes
- no visible tattoos
- no outward piercings except clear balls
- all routine work documented in operational manual
- work performed according to company policies and standards
- maintain client and company information confidentiality
- staff assistance as requested
- respect coworkers
- attend quarterly meetings and yearly evaluations
- minimum age 16
- able to work shifts as specified
- able to speak, understand, read, and write in English
- perform simple math, handle money, make change and operate cash register
- friendly and upbeat personality and good hygiene
- answer telephone or intercom promptly
- may stock and maintain inventory
- maintain clean and neat work area
- complete assigned paperwork accurately
- clear tables, reset and clean dining areas
- stand and walk 4 to 10 hours daily
- lift and carry 10 to 60 pounds
- push, pull and maneuver 10 to 150 pounds
- frequent bending, stooping and reaching
- use hands and fingers constantly

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- friendly and upbeat personality
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- ability to work A.M./P.M. shifts as required
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- certified training capability is a plus
Job Duties
- Bring restaurant issues to FOH manager for weekly meetings
- meet or exceed Water Street Way standards for cleanliness, product quality and guest satisfaction
- implement all systems and forms for host operation
- assist in training new host personnel as a certified trainer
- adhere to all Water Street policies and procedures
- maintain clean and neat work area by performing assigned cleaning tasks
- promptly and courteously greet, seat and assist customers as needed
