Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Obtain A.B.C. Responsible Beverage Service Certification
- Obtain California Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
- Attend scheduled training sessions and meetings
- Must be available to apply in person at specified job fair dates
- Comply with all Hestan Napa Standards of Service Manual guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Basic math skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-quality dinner house environment
- Experience with POS and online reservation systems
- Ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Manage restaurant reservation systems using Toast POS
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure with warmth and professionalism
- Provide knowledgeable answers about food, beverage menus, kitchen equipment, and culinary wares
- Process food and beverage orders accurately through Toast POS system
- Conduct sales transactions via Shopify POS system
- Demonstrate compliance with liquor laws including A.B.C. certification
- Attend product training, wine seminars, and team meetings
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Hestan Napa’s product lines and service standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
