Job Requirements

Must be 16 years or older
Prior experience as a host, hostess, greeter, or maitre d preferred but not required
Able to accommodate special needs of guests including boosters, highchairs, disabilities
Ability to manage wait list and guest flow
Able to maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Physical stamina to stand and be mobile for extended periods
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff

Job Qualifications

Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required
Mobility required during the entire shift
Ability to transport and carry objects such as highchairs up to 15 pounds multiple times a shift
Ability to clean tabletops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats
Ability to stand and maintain steady mobility for up to four hours
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees

Job Duties

Opens door for guests arriving and departing
Accommodates any special needs of guests such as boosters, highchairs, disabilities
Manages the wait list when the restaurant is full
Provides guest assistance to servers as needed
Maintains a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned
Fills out the feature board and inflates balloons
