Job Requirements

Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
Basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Ability to operate point of sale system
Ability to hear well in a loud environment
Ability to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, and grasp
Must meet state, county, or municipal regulations for food handling
Ability to work with potentially hazardous chemicals
Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs

Job Duties

Greet guests immediately in a friendly manner upon arrival and acknowledge at departure
Seat guests at clean, dry tables utilizing proper seating rotation
Manage guest waiting list and adhere to proper seating order procedures
Describe promotions and suggestively sell while seating guests
Take initial beverage orders and assist service personnel with beverage orders and refills
Address guest complaints promptly and courteously
Accurately complete cash, credit card, and discount transactions using safe cash handling procedures
