Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to write and record guest names accurately
- Must exhibit a positive and cheerful disposition
- Able to engage guests in friendly conversation
- Capable of multitasking including using communication devices
- Wear proper uniform including slip-proof shoes and maintain clean appearance
- Punctual and ready to work assigned shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is an asset
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Proficient use of communication devices such as radio headsets
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage guest seating and waiting lists using electronic Paging System
- Communicate effectively with floor managers, bussers and other hosts using radio headsets
- Maintain cleanliness and order of guest waiting areas and dining rooms
- Engage guests in polite conversation and ensure their satisfaction
- Coordinate table turnovers and call for bussing and cleaning as needed
- Assist with restroom cleaning and other assigned tasks as requested by management
