Job Requirements
- Consistently arrive to work as scheduled, prepared to assume shift responsibilities
- arrive well-groomed and in proper uniform
- greet all guests, delivery drivers, and vendors promptly and hospitably
- answer phone calls and respond to tablet orders in a timely professional manner
- present menus to guests as seated
- accurately manage host cash drawer
- report any lost items to management immediately
- have comprehensive knowledge of menu and ingredients
- assist FOH staff with bussing and stocking duties
- say thank-you and good-bye to every guest
- comply with all employee handbook policies
- follow management direction on cleaning, sanitation, and safety
- conduct daily cleaning projects effectively
- comply with break policies including clocking in and out for breaks
- manage wait lists and accurately quote wait times using tablet or manual systems
- able to work various shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays
- work well in a fast-paced environment
- able to work effectively under pressure
- able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Able to obtain valid Food Handler's Card and OLCC Server Permit
- display a basic knowledge of hospitality, service, and restaurant operations
- demonstrate good time management skills
- perform basic mathematics accurately
- have strong communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- capable of maintaining a positive demeanor during all shifts
- demonstrate knowledge of menu items and seating rotation
- able to use Micros POS system quickly and accurately
- understand and apply food safety and sanitation protocols
- capable of following all OLCC regulations and company policies
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
- take orders in person, over the phone, online, and on tablets
- accurately pack take-out orders and manage deliveries
- run orders for curbside pick-up
- clean, sanitize, and disinfect work areas according to health standards and management direction
- follow all procedures outlined in training manuals and employee handbooks
- manage host cash drawer accurately
- report any items left by guests or staff immediately to management
- assist front-of-house staff with bussing, station stocking, and table resetting
- refill water and beverages and clear plates and glassware
- manage wait lists and quote wait times accurately
- maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times
- comply with all health department, safety, and OLCC alcohol regulations and company policies
