Job Duties
- Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
- taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, and thanking guests as they depart
- assigning all necessary tables pre-shift and providing servers with appropriate chits
- answering phones throughout the shift and directing calls to appropriate personnel as necessary
- pulling out chairs, seating guests, providing menus once seated
- performing additional opening and closing side work-related duties such as cleaning, stocking, setting up host stand for next shift
