Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Excellent verbal communication skills
Friendly and welcoming personality

Job Qualifications

Prior customer service experience is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a team player
Basic knowledge of reservation systems is a plus

Job Duties

Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable well-timed and pleasant
Responsible for taking reservations greeting and seating guests and thanking guests as they depart
Assign all necessary tables pre-shift and provide servers with appropriate chits
Answer phones throughout the shift and direct calls to appropriate personnel as necessary
Pull out chairs seat guests provide menus once seated
Perform additional opening and closing side work duties such as cleaning stocking and setting up the host stand for the next shift
