Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- ability to use reservation management software
- excellent communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to assist guests and team members
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- prior experience in a customer service role preferred

Job Duties
- Greet and make all guests feel welcomed as they enter the restaurant
- using Open Table, manage seating arrangements for all bookings and walk-ins
- offer guests who are waiting drinks from the bar and promote marketing materials
- ensure guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude
- inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
- guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
- seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- pulling out chairs
- placing clean/current menu in front of guest
- move and arrange tables, chairs and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs
- ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting
- monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
