Job Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Willingness to work hard and learn
  • Flexibility to work long hours
  • Ability to stand during entire shift exerting up to 20 pounds as needed
  • Ability to maneuver throughout dining and kitchen areas
  • Ability to reach overhead, carry trays, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist
  • Communicate intentions clearly to co-workers
  • Approach guest encounters in a friendly and socially distanced manner
  • Continuously clean high touch points and restrooms
  • Maintain a regular schedule in line with restaurant business levels
  • Comply with Covid-19 cleaning protocols and standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming
  • Wear proper uniform and facial mask and gloves when required
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to carry trays and maneuver through busy dining areas
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and make a positive first impression
  • Communicate accurate wait times and manage seating arrangements
  • Engage guests by suggesting menu items and answering questions
  • Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing high-touch points and restrooms
  • Assist with coordination between front of house and kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain personal grooming and adhere to uniform standards
