Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer-facing role preferred
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- excellent organizational skills
- friendly and outgoing personality
- knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival
- manage guest seating and reservations efficiently
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area
- assist in managing guest flow during busy periods
- provide excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns politely
- support cross-training activities by learning other restaurant roles
- contribute to a positive and welcoming restaurant atmosphere
