Job Requirements
- Score of 90% or better on all Health Department inspections
- score of 90% or better on all mystery shopper reports
- follow all dress code requirements for Host/Hostess operation - black Dickie pants, black cotton-style shirt, black non skid shoes, no visible tattoos, no outward piercings (clear balls OK)
- at least 16 years old
- able to work specified shifts
- able to speak, understand, read and write in English
- ability to perform simple math, handle money, make change, operate cash register, prepare bank deposits
- friendly and upbeat personality
- good personal hygiene
- able to answer telephone or intercom promptly with a friendly manner
- able to greet, seat and/or take food or beverage orders promptly and courteously
- able to stock and maintain inventory
- able to record sales and waste of food and beverages
- able to maintain clean and neat work area
- able to complete assigned paperwork accurately
- able to clear tables, reset tables, clean floors, and take out trash as needed
- capable of standing and walking up to 10 hours per day
- able to lift and carry items up to 60 pounds
- able to push/pull/ maneuver items up to 150 pounds
- able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, perform rotating motions and reach overhead
- able to frequently use hands and fingers

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or restaurant hosting preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow company policies and procedures

- good personal hygiene
- capable of working A.M./P.M. shifts as specified by management
- ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
- ability to perform simple math and handle money

Job Duties
- Bring restaurant issues to FOH Manager to take to weekly meetings
- meet or exceed Water Street Way standards for cleanliness, product quality and guest satisfaction
- implement all systems and forms for Host operation
- assist in the training of all new Host personnel (Certified Trainer)
- adhere to all the policy and procedures of Water Street
- promptly and courteously greet, seat and/or take food or beverage orders from customers
- stock and maintain inventory of items needed in food and beverage serving and bar drink preparation
- maintain a clean and neat work area at all times by performing assigned cleaning tasks
- clear tables of dishes and silverware, reset table for next customers, scrub, sweep and maintain clean floor areas in the restaurant
- take the trash out to the dumpster as needed
