Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to interact with guests, the public, and coworkers
- Ability to work under pressure and professionally deal with stressful situations during busy periods in a loud, busy, and crowded environment
- Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures
- Must be able to work and move quickly in a tight-space environment in a safe manner without disrupting other employees
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent optional
- Minimum of one years experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar preferred
- Knowledge of Teamwork and Toast POS system
- Experience with Open Table
- Proficient verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction
- Superior attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to interact professionally at all times with guests, management team and coworkers
Job Duties
- Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills in order to greet guests, answer guest questions and address guest concerns in a warm, professional, and accommodating manner
- Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct
- Provide exemplary guest service on a consistent basis
- Daily review of Open Table reservations, special events and private parties and create a game plan for the day
- Politely welcome guests by greeting them and ensure they are seated in a timely manner
- Maintain host and bathroom areas by keeping them clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Respond to all inquiries about private parties
- Assist the management team with guest relations for day-to-day operations
