Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Serve as the customer's first impression of service in the restaurant
  • Greet all incoming customers with a smile and by opening the door
  • Warmly invite customers to find a table wherever they'd prefer or show them to the waiting chairs along the front, ensuring them of a short wait
  • Manage the order of waiting customers to ensure prompt seating as tables become available
  • Diligently thank customers as they leave and invite them to come back
  • Stock and maintain the self-service coffee bar for waiting customers
  • Hand menus to waiting customers
  • Answer customers' questions regarding the menu, basic Waffle House food preparation, and wait times
