Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in uniform
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform essential job functions
- Prolonged standing and continuous walking
- Frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal
- Deliver and collect patient menus promptly
- Stocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized work area
- Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal service
- Adhere to all facility health, food safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist team members and management as needed to ensure efficient department operations
- Prepare, cook, and portion hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes
- Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, steamers, and slicers
- Follow proper food handling, temperature control, and storage procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, equipment, and prep areas
- Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions, consistency standards, and hospital nutrition guidelines
- Accurately label, date, and rotate all food items to maintain freshness
- Collaborate with dietary and clinical staff to support patient dietary needs
