Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience in hospitality or guest services supervision
  • Strong computer skills including familiarity with property management systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
  • Commitment to safety and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing world-class service
  • Strong knowledge of personal computers
  • Experience in all facets of providing guest services
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with others
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Preferably two years in hospitality services or similar environment performing like duties as Guest Services or Concierge supervisor
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly

Job Duties

  • Supervises Guest Services Support Staff in providing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week coverage
  • Coordinates registration functions and transportation for all guests
  • Trains Front Desk/Concierge personnel by utilizing training programs established in conjunction with Aramark and conference center clients
  • Oversees front desk and concierge's tasks to ensure world class service is provided in check in and check out functions
  • Ensures proper execution of Lobby Ambassador Program
  • Provides guest orientation of the local area and the conference center facilities
  • Maintains proper telephone service technique and PBX operation
  • Handles guest mail, messages and special deliveries
  • Coordinates reservations for guest transportation
  • Fully understands and utilizes the property management system
  • Familiar with night audit function
  • Assists all guests in any way possible including following up on guest concerns in a timely manner
  • Maintains a limited supply of sundries and restocks as necessary
  • Issues and monitors safe deposit boxes
  • Opens and closes support staff cashier banks
  • Designs and implements training programs to ensure all staff are well-versed in daily job functions, safety awareness, and Aramark policies and procedures
  • Responsible for ordering, storing and inventory of all supplies necessary for daily operations
  • Communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Establishes, implements, and follows all emergency procedures
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by Guest Services Manager
