Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years experience in hospitality or guest services supervisory roles
  • physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency with computer systems
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • strong knowledge of personal computers
  • experience in all facets of providing guest services
  • ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively
  • strong organizational abilities
  • preferably two years of experience in hospitality services or a similar environment performing guest services or concierge supervisory duties
  • ability to read, write, and clearly speak English

Job Duties

  • Supervises guest services support staff in providing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week coverage
  • coordinates registration functions and transportation for all guests
  • trains front desk/concierge personnel by utilizing training programs established in conjunction with Aramark and conference center clients
  • oversees front desk and concierge tasks to ensure world class service including check in and check out functions
  • ensures proper execution of lobby ambassador program
  • provides guest orientation of the local area and the conference center facilities
  • ensures proper telephone service technique and PBX operation
  • handles guest mail, messages and special deliveries
  • coordinates reservations for guest transportation
  • utilizes property management system and is familiar with night audit function
  • assists guests in any way possible including timely follow up on guest concerns
  • maintains and restocks a limited supply of sundries
  • issues and monitors safe deposit boxes
  • opens and closes support staff cashier banks
  • designs and implements training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable in job functions, safety awareness, and company policies
  • manages ordering, storing, and inventory of supplies
  • communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • establishes and follows all emergency procedures
  • performs other duties as assigned by Guest Services Manager
