Job Duties
- Cleaning restrooms
- removing trash
- dusting
- damp wiping
- spot cleaning
- spot mopping
- picking up dry and wet spills
- sweeping
- vacuuming
- cleaning mirrors and glass
- making beds
- polishing furniture and metal
- replenishing paper, soap, and plastic supplies
- performing daily cleaning of office spaces, waiting areas, and outside buildings
- cleaning emergency room and high-volume bathrooms multiple times daily
- following 10-step cleaning process for discharge rooms
- performing terminal cleaning for patient rooms as needed
- dust-mopping and sweeping floors
- vacuuming and bonnetting carpets
- stripping and refinishing floors
- responding to EPIC system tasks
- updating task status via phone
- removing, covering, and washing trash containers
- adhering to organizational competencies and behavior standards
- completing other duties and projects as assigned
