Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in cleaning or manual labor
- willingness to perform routine manual tasks
- ability to follow instructions and procedures
- good communication skills
- capacity to respond promptly to requests
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, nights, or weekends
Job Qualifications
- such training and experience may be gained through training schools
- some experience in performing cleaning work or other manual labor
- willingness and experience to give exceptional job performance
- high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- related experience considered in lieu of diploma or GED
Job Duties
- clean restrooms
- remove trash
- dust
- damp wipe
- spot clean
- spot mop
- pick up dry and wet spills
- sweep
- vacuum
- clean mirrors and glass
- make beds
- polish furniture and metal
- replenish paper, soap and plastic supplies
- perform daily cleaning of office spaces, waiting areas, and outside buildings
- execute discharge room cleaning according to a 10-step process
- respond promptly to cleaning requests via EPIC system
- perform floor care tasks such as dust-mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, bonnet carpet, and stripping and refinishing floors
- remove, cover, and wash all trash containers
- adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
- undertake other duties and projects as assigned
