Job Qualifications

- some experience performing cleaning work or other manual labor
- willingness and experience to deliver exceptional job performance
- high school diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), or GED equivalent preferred but related experience may be considered
Job Duties
- clean restrooms
- remove trash
- dust
- damp wipe
- spot clean
- spot mop
- pick up dry and wet spills
- sweep
- vacuum
- clean mirrors and glass
- make beds
- polish furniture and metal
- replenish paper, soap and plastic supplies
- daily cleaning of ancillary areas such as office space, waiting areas and outside buildings
- perform daily room cleaning and discharge room cleaning following a 10-step cleaning process
- respond immediately to pages for discharge cleaning
- perform terminal cleaning for rooms of patients with precautions
- dust-mop and sweep floors
- vacuum and bonnet carpet
- strip and refinish floors
- use EPIC system to receive tasks and update status
- remove, cover and wash trash containers
- perform other duties and projects as assigned
- adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
