Job Qualifications

- willingness to perform exceptional job performance
- ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and supplies
- good communication skills to use EPIC system
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- preferred high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Job Duties
- clean restrooms
- remove trash
- dust and damp wipe surfaces
- spot cleaning and spot mopping
- pick up dry and wet spills
- sweep and vacuum floors
- clean mirrors and glass
- make beds
- polish furniture and metal
- replenish paper, soap and plastic supplies
- daily cleaning of ancillary areas such as office spaces, waiting areas, and outside buildings
- perform discharge room cleaning following a 10-step process
- respond immediately to pages for discharge cleaning
- perform terminal cleaning for patients with precautions
- dust-mop and sweep floors
- vacuum and bonnet carpet
- strip and refinish floors
- respond to EPIC system tasks
- update task status using phone
- remove, cover and wash trash containers as designated
- perform other duties and projects as assigned
- adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
