Job Duties
- clean restrooms
- remove trash
- dust
- damp wipe surfaces
- spot clean and mop spills
- sweep and vacuum floors
- clean mirrors and glass
- make beds
- polish furniture and metal
- replenish paper, soap, and plastic supplies
- daily cleaning of office space, waiting areas, and outside buildings
- multiple daily cleanings in high volume areas such as bathrooms and emergency rooms
- follow 10-step cleaning process for discharge rooms
- respond immediately to cleaning pages
- perform terminal cleaning for rooms with patient precautions
- dust-mop and sweep floors
- vacuum and bonnet carpets
- strip and refinish floors
- respond to EPIC system tasks and update status
- remove, cover, and wash trash containers
- carry out other duties and projects as assigned
- adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
