Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Some experience in performing cleaning work or manual labor
- Ability and willingness to perform routine manual labor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- Ability to respond promptly to assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills for task updates
- Ability to adhere to organizational standards and competencies
Job Qualifications
- Training or experience from training schools or similar programs
- Some experience in cleaning or manual labor work
- Willingness to deliver exceptional job performance
- High school diploma or GED preferred but related experience may be considered in lieu of diploma or GED
- Effective communication skills for task management through EPIC system
Job Duties
- Daily cleaning of ancillary areas including office space, waiting areas, and outside buildings
- Cleaning of high-volume areas such as bathrooms and emergency rooms two to three times daily
- Daily cleaning of discharge rooms following a 10-step cleaning process with immediate response to pages for discharge cleaning
- Performing terminal cleaning for rooms housing patients with precautions
- Dust-mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, bonneting carpets, and refinishing floors
- Responding to tasks via the EPIC system and updating task status via phone
- Removing, covering, and washing all trash containers as designated by the Team Leader
- Adhering to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
- Performing other duties and projects as assigned
