Job Requirements
- Some training or experience in cleaning or manual labor
- Ability and willingness to perform physical cleaning tasks
- Commitment to high quality job performance
- Availability to work and respond promptly in a healthcare environment
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning processes and safety protocols
- Ability to use EPIC system or similar task management tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Training and experience gained through training schools or similar education
- Some experience performing cleaning or manual labor tasks
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to provide exceptional job performance
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred but not required
- Related experience can be considered in lieu of diploma or GED
Job Duties
- Daily cleaning of office space, waiting areas and/or outside buildings
- Cleaning restrooms multiple times daily especially in high volume areas
- Performing daily room cleaning and discharge room cleaning using a 10 step process
- Providing terminal cleaning for rooms with patient precautions
- Dust-mopping, sweeping floors, vacuuming and bonneting carpets
- Stripping and refinishing floors as needed
- Responding to EPIC system tasks and updating task status
- Removing trash and maintaining trash containers
- Adhering to organizational competencies and standards of behavior
- Performing other assigned duties and projects
