Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- certification as Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food service
- knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety
- ability to manage budgets and inventory
- strong communication skills

- degree in nutrition, hospitality, or food service preferred

- 2+ years supervisory experience in food service, preferably healthcare
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory standards, and food safety
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Manage meal preparation, service, and sanitation
- ensure compliance with therapeutic diets and RD-approved menus
- Supervise, schedule, and train dietary staff
- foster teamwork and service excellence
- Maintain compliance with CMS, HACCP, and state/federal regulations
- participate in audits and quality initiatives
- Oversee budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cost control
- Engage residents through feedback, special requests, and dining programs
