Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • certified dietary manager (cdm) or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in food service, preferably healthcare
  • knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory standards, and food safety
  • strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Manage meal preparation, service, and sanitation
  • ensure compliance with therapeutic diets and RD-approved menus
  • supervise, schedule, and train dietary staff
  • foster teamwork and service excellence
  • maintain compliance with CMS, HACCP, and state/federal regulations
  • participate in audits and quality initiatives
  • oversee budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cost control
  • engage residents through feedback, special requests, and dining programs
