Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Two years of prior work experience in front of house supervision and leadership
  • Ability to work in a team setting and provide strong customer service
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to carry a serving tray with at least four meals or beverages
  • Ability to clean apartments and dining room as needed
  • Requires driving responsibilities and valid driver's license
  • Must meet company Motor Vehicle Policy standards
  • Must complete all Atria specified training programs

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Two year Associates Degree preferred
  • Two years of prior work experience in front of house supervision and leadership
  • Experience managing employees, recruiting, customer service, labor scheduling, budgeting, and expense management
  • Ability to work in a team setting and provide strong customer service
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to carry a serving tray with at least four meals or beverages
  • Ability to clean apartments and dining room as needed
  • Requires driving responsibilities and valid driver's license
  • Must meet company Motor Vehicle Policy standards
  • Must complete all Atria specified training programs

Job Duties

  • Hire, orient, schedule, train, coach, and counsel dining room waitstaff and housekeeping staff
  • Lead sales while Manager on Duty each week, including responding to telephone inquiries, conducting and following up on tours, and completing lease signings
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and transfer calls to appropriate personnel
  • Provide timely feedback to team and consistent performance management
  • Establish and manage labor and supplies budget and expenses
  • Manage schedules according to resident census and budgets and control overtime
  • Provide high levels of customer service and create a restaurant-style dining atmosphere
  • Work closely with Executive Chef and General Manager/Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food, service, dining programs, and housekeeping
  • Review daily menu with residents and staff and coordinate room service delivery
  • Provide quality and compliance leadership and support building inspections and quality checks
  • Train team on company standards related to cleanliness, sanitation, appearance, service, and satisfaction
  • Ensure all tables are set according to company standards
  • Solve issues before they become complaints
  • Act as Manager on Duty when General Manager/Executive Director is not on site
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
