Currently, the company is hiring a part-time Hospitality Butler for their Serenade Neighborhoods, specializing in Assisted Living and Memory Care. This role is designed for individuals passionate about hospitality, relationship building, and enhancing the daily experiences of older adults. Working hours are Tuesday to Thursday mornings from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a competitive salary range of $17 to $18 per hour. The Hospitality Butler is responsible for maintaining a high-standard dining experience by overseeing meal ordering and providing efficient room delivery service for residents. This role also includes serving breakfast and lunch, cleaning and resetting dining areas within Memory Care neighborhoods, and timely delivery of residents' mail and packages. In addition to meal-related duties, the Butler plays a crucial role in fostering community by planning, hosting, and serving Social Hour for residents daily, assisting with transportation arrangements, and communicating effectively with family members and loved ones. This is a dynamic position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a genuine love for working with people and a commitment to creating meaningful resident experiences.

The Hospitality Butler role is ideal for someone who thrives in a healthcare community environment where dependability, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills are vital. Experience in customer service or dementia care is highly valued, reflecting the specialized needs of the residents served. This position also demands physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting residents using proper body mechanics, emphasizing the importance of safe and compassionate care practices. Job Requirements

  • Must be dependable and reliable in a 24/7 healthcare community
  • must have a positive attitude and a love for working with people
  • strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • experience in customer service or dementia care is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • a valid state driver's license and at least 5 years of licensed driving experience
  • minimum two years work experience or training in hospitality and/or customer service required
  • excellent leadership, communications, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs using proper body mechanics

Job Duties

  • Oversee meal ordering and execute room delivery service for Serenade residents
  • serve breakfast and lunch while maintaining a high-level dining experience for residents
  • clean and reset the dining room after breakfast and lunch (Memory Care only)
  • deliver residents' mail, packages, and messages promptly
  • be fully conversant with menus and scheduled activities
  • assist in arranging resident transportation for medical or personal appointments when needed
  • plan, host, and serve Social Hour for residents daily
  • communicate with residents' family members and loved ones as needed
