Job Requirements
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and follow through in a fast-paced environment
- flexible schedule with availability to work one weekend day per week and during special events as needed
- one year of retail experience preferred but not required
- excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communication
- demonstrated reliability and punctuality with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while adhering to all safety regulations and operational procedures
Job Duties
- Demonstrate an appreciation for design and visual display with the ability to create engaging sales vignettes and assemble attractive food displays for events
- maintain and refresh merchandise displays and retail stations to ensure a visually appealing guest experience
- re-stock Benziger Tasting Room merchandise and supplies including food items, non-alcoholic beverages, apparel, wine accessories, and jewelry
- receive, organize, and store incoming merchandise and supplies
- monitor inventory levels, identify low-stock items, and assist with reordering and periodic inventory counts
- support merchandising and decor efforts for special events
- maintain organization and cleanliness of retail storage and work areas
