Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or food service industry
  • Ability to work full-time day shifts with flexibility for on-call rotations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to complete pre-hire health assessment and drug screen
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or culinary services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and residents
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Proficiency in scheduling and staff coordination
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Direct the overall operation of the kitchenette, tray service and dining room areas
  • Complete staffing schedule
  • Inspect and monitor food for visual appearance, quality, proper temperature, portion size, and dietary needs
  • Assist with the interview process under the supervision of the Food & Beverage Director
  • Train and monitor performance of dining service team
  • Seek resident involvement for menu planning and service feedback
  • Direct and schedule the care and cleaning of area
  • Responsible for the stocking and organization of food and supply storage areas
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete physical inventory as directed
  • Perform duties of absent team members when necessary to ensure smooth running operations
