Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen
  • Ability to drive slowly and cautiously
  • Ability to assist guests politely and efficiently
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Availability to work weekdays, 10am to 6pm
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow established procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small groups
  • Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and multiply and divide by tens and hundreds
  • Ability to perform mathematical operations using American money units
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when needed
