Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English instructions
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work weekdays from 10 am to 6 pm
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of parking rates and procedures
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely by driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect vehicle revenue when necessary
