Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to talk and hear regularly
- Ability to run, walk, handle objects and climb stairs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Ability to maintain close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 2:00pm
- Ability to follow established practices and procedures
- Ability to maintain accuracy under supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal services principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time
- Ability to understand time-related rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including vehicle details and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect revenue as needed
