Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read write and comprehend English
- Ability to perform basic math operations with money
- Understanding of 24 hour time systems
- Ability to understand parking rate procedures
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicle preferred
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to work or a commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles and personal services
- Ability to read write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division with money units
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates and time calculations
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicle is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with all guests co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and promptly
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions taxis reservations and facility information
- Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue and collect claim checks and process vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain detailed ticket information including key tags guest folios vehicle location and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
