Job Requirements
- must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance from the state you are applying to work
- able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- physical ability to stand walk reach climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl
- ability to talk or hear regularly
- willing to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- able to work Tuesday through Friday 7am to 2pm
- able to follow established procedures and work under direction
- able to maintain a friendly professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one month related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English language
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive friendly and efficient manner
- park and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
- assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up during arrival and departure
- greet guests professionally within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
- explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio location of vehicle damage survey and claim check receipt
